Be careful if it’s your first time…
National estate agents novahomes are holding a series of first time buyers events with the provocative strap line “Be careful if it’s your first time!”

In the midst of credit crunch fears, novahomes are using the controversial marketing campaign, designed by Qballyhoo, to help first time buyers to take the necessary precautions in the current housing market; novahomes director Mark Savill explained “
we’re not saying that we are using sex to sell, but we are definitely using the comparison between responsible sex and responsible purchasing behaviour.”
Present at each event will be both legal advice and mortgage advice to help buyers separate the truth from the myths concerning the credit crunch. Mark added “there’s been so much hype surrounding the credit crunch that we want to be able to show people that there are lenders who will lend at reasonable rates, with reasonable deposits, to many borrowers. Vendor gifted deposits are still available for buyers to use, as are developers incentives and help from relatives. Let’s face it the drastic price falls now allow people who were forced to rent only a year or so ago to buy their own home affordably – and that has to be good news.”
